As investigators continued searching for answers, questions were being raised about whether the King Road murders could be connected to other unsolved stabbing cases. Moscow Police said they had examined similarities to a 1999 double stabbing in Pullman, Washington, and a 2021 double stabbing in Salem, Oregon. At that point, investigators said they had found no evidence that the cases were related.
Evidence Sent to the Crime Lab
By November 25, investigators had collected 113 pieces of physical evidence and sent them to the Idaho State Police crime lab for processing and analysis. Police also reported receiving more than 260 digital media submissions from members of the public.
